Microchanneling
Microchanneling is a minimally invasive treatment that transforms the look and feel of damaged skin to a smoother, cleaner and healthier looking skin. During the Microchanneling process, small micro-needles penetrate the superficial layers of your skin creating small, micro-injuries. These micro-injuries stimulate a natural healing response in the skin, which leads to the deposition of new collagen. During a normal Microchanneling treatment, several thousands of micro-injuries can be created. Over the course of several treatments, this repetitive healing process can create a new layer of collagen that can improve the smoothness and overall appearance of your skin.
There is no real downtime except for some redness and maybe sensitive skin. It’s advised not to wear makeup for 24-48 hours after procedure.
Microchanneling cannot be performed if your skin has active acne.
